How You Can Help

  • We are currently accepting food donations, which we redistribute to the community.  Learn more here or email us at donatefood@riseboro.org.
  • General PPE Donations: Our Home Health Aides at RiseBoro Homecare are critical in helping seniors stay safe and healthy in their homes. To support them we are currently accepting Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) donations, which we distribute to our Home Health Aides.  Learn more.
  • Homemade Mask Donations: If you or someone you know can sew, we need your help to protect Brooklyn's essential workers! Learn more.
  • Friendly Visit Volunteers: RiseBoro provides our most socially isolated seniors with a "Friendly Visitor" volunteer that spends time providing companionship. With COVID-19 we've changed the visits to calls but they are still important! Learn more about volunteering.
  • Donate now and designate it for 'COVID Response' and we will be sure to use your donation toward helping the most vulnerable during this health crisis.
  • Want to volunteer? There are lots of ways to help! Contact us at volunteer@riseboro.org.
